Pár změn je záměrných, pár nechtěných. Možná je tam nějaká chyba v překladu, ale snad ne.
A když už jsme u britského humoru, tak jeden přepis rozhovoru ze seriálu Doctor Who, který IMHO dokonale vystihuje jeho celou podstatu (kde si Doktor poklidně vykračuje v baloňáku a teniskách třeba ve starém Římě a nikoho to neznepokojuje – což není myšleno jako kritika):
[After travelling to 1599]
Martha: But are we safe? Can we move around and stuff?
The Doctor: Of course we can. Why do you ask?
Martha: It’s like in the films! You step on a butterfly, you change the future of the human race!
The Doctor: [Bemused] I’ll tell you what then, don’t…. step on any butterflies. What have butterflies ever done to you?
Martha: What if…. I dunno! What if I kill my grandfather?!
The Doctor: Are you planning to?
Martha: No.
The Doctor: Well, then.
Martha: But…. am I going to get carted off as a slave or anything?
The Doctor: [looks shocked] Why would they do that?
Martha: [indicates herself] Not exactly white, in case you haven’t noticed.
The Doctor: I’m not even human. Just walk around like you own the place, it works for me.
